Sherman Textures

Well it's all going really well on the Sherman with the extra armour panels on and the turret and front transmission textured. The armour plates had the weld lines added to the edges using a fine saw blade which I scraped along each edge. This works very well and any gaps will be filled later with two part putty and shaped with a scalpel.

The texturing was achieved using Mr surfacer stippled on with an old brush. Once dry the turret was lightly sanded back to smooth it out in a uniform way.
