Today I took the short drive down to Thornbury near Bristol for the annual IPMS Avon show and I'm very glad I did. As usual the show is spread over three halls giving plenty of space for traders, exhibitors and the public to navigate without much trouble. The lighting in all three halls is also very good.
From the start I was impressed with the quality of the models on display with plenty of Stalwarts, Ferrets and a good few Saracens on various club tables. It was really nice to see so much British modern armour on display. Also as usual there was the wargames element to the show with loads of games in play and some dedicated traders too.
Trader wise again there was plenty of choice and I actually spent a bit for a change. Especially with some keen prices which was good to see.
I also met up with Friends and followers of the blog which was great. It's always a treat to catch up and talk all things modelling bollocks so again great to meet up again Paul, Andy, Des, Chris, Mark and not forgetting Rob.
So yet another excellent show By IPMS Avon who work really hard to put on a first class event. I had a great time and took plenty of pictures which I hope you enjoy.
And finally my stash additions.
