Slow progress on the model due to other factors but I'm getting there! Not mentioned in the instructions is the fact you can pose the front and rear wheels to show the interesting way these things actually turn corners. So I decided to do just that.
Next I primed and painted the interior then jumped to the launcher assembly and associated parts. First to be tackled was the rocket pod support frames. these need some cleanup to remove seam lines and a bit of patience putting them together. However it all pays off with perfectly aligned frames.
The pods look suitably impressive once test fitted. Next the launcher body and front array were built up. The detail is excellent on all parts which I enhanced slightly with lead wire cables to the numerous electric motors. Everything is loose at the moment to ensure proper alignment. I will glue the central array and support frames on later before painting but the two small ones can be left off until after paint.
