Figure Complete & More Basework

The figure is now all done after a light coat of VMS matt varnish. I'm really pleased with him and must say a big thank you to Paul at Red Zebra Models for him and for the excellent sculpting and casting. It really does make a big difference when painting figures if it's a quality product which this certainly is. He also looks a little like Sean Connery which I find amusing!

Onto the base now and I've been adding some washes and staining to the wall and rubble as well as painting and fitting the re bar on the posts. A handy upshot of the washes is that it's dulled and stained the glass on the wall and I think it looks even better and more realistic now. Next will be some pigments before all the rubbish and litter gets added.
