Base & Figure Painting

Progress on the base now with a coat of Tamiya XF-78 wooden deck tan for the sand and various grey colours mixed and used for some of the blocks on the wall. This was followed by a very light grey wash over all the walls and rubble. I've also made up and painted some crisp packets from masking tape.

The figure has also been started with a thin layer of white on the trousers, this will be a base for the denim I'll try and paint later. I've also gone for a green parka and have used Vallejo 327 Italian tank crew which is a really good colour for it.
