Back to the supacat now and so far its had a few washes & filters followed by a matt coat. The load has also had some strapping added using tamiya tape. All that's left to do now is add some final weathering and then make up some ratchet straps to secure the load to the model.
I've been waiting for the update on this Supacat. This kit isn't available in the US; only the stretcher version, but, like you mentioned, doesn't have the diamond plate. So, I ordered one internationally and now it's in my queue (probably next build). I bought some "Z-Poxy Epoxy Quick Shot 5 Minute" to secure the diamond plate as you said you used 5 minute epoxy for same. Perhaps CA gel might also be okay for the diamond plate?
ReplyDeleteThis vehicle is quite versatile as I saw some UK webpage where it was even equipped with an outboard motor and side pontoons for amphibious duty.
Thanks Edward glad you are enjoying the build. I would guess CA would also work, I'd try a slow setting type which should also give some time to get the PE in position.
