I'll add lighter pigments next to build up a nice layered effect. The base has also been sprayed with the main colours and pigments added. Some fallen leaves will also be added and the grass dry brushed with oils later on.

Lanchester Base & Pigments
I've been plodding along with the base painting and adding the first round of pigments to the model. I started adding some VMS pigments mixed with water to the model then as an experiment mixed pigments with lifecolor liquid pigments. This worked very well as I was able to apply very fine effects and some dark spatters very easily.
