After a couple more pin washes late last night the matt coat went on early this morning followed this afternoon by some painting of all the reflectors and lights. I also fitted the cab in place on the chassis. Still a long way to go with most of the work being concerned with the fuel tanks and cargo bed.
Happy with the faded look of the NATO camo, it's not too stark and matches my refs very nicely. I'm going to use pigments for the final weathering on this but will be keeping it quite subtle.
Looking really nice! May I ask what you used for the matt varnish?
ReplyDeleteI'm using vallejo premium matt varnish, 62.062
