Today myself and for a change Brian popped over to the REME museum in Lyneham for their model show. Today we should have been in Belgium enjoying the IPMS Belgium Plastic & Steel show like we did last year. But due to Brian being unable to take the trip due to ill health we made the effort to have a look at this show.
Located in the museum itself amongst the exhibits the show is not big but it is very nice. Plenty of room to look at all the models on display from the various clubs and check for that must have kit from the vendor's also present. Lighting was good throughout as well. They also have some R/C tanks running outside which was very enjoyable. A very nice cafe is also located in the museum and it was a nice place to enjoy a brew and in my case a delicious slice of carrot cake.
As said already although the show is small this by no means detracts from the displays or visitors enjoyment. We both had a great time and said we will go back next year if possible. Stash additions for me only amounted to a bottle of glue. Very restrained for me!
