Yesterday I cracked on with the base for the model using a recycled one for a change. I just added more plaster to the base followed by sand and gravel to make a rocky desert scene. I also added the headlight & fender light glazing to the model.
I'm very pleased with the way the model and figure look on the base as the figure's casual pose really works well with the car. Once the base is fully dry I'll spray with a suitable colour before adding some dry grass tufts and pigments.
