Marder Progress

The build is coming along very well with the second track run sorted and the main hull structures & gun assemblies now built up. Now I'll add all the little parts and a few extra details.

Feeling in the mood for building again I've selected this cracker from tamiya to ease me back into the habit of modelling. I made a start this afternoon and I'm really impressed with the precise fit of parts so far. One thing I did discover is that the tracks are on the wrong way if you follow the instructions so I've adjusted accordingly to match my references. 

 

Yeovil Model Show Sunday 24th October

As you may have gathered my modelling mojo has still not returned hence the distinct lack of posts over the last month. However today Myself and Brian went down to the Yeovil show to display and hopefully re-ignite our interest in modelling. The show was held at Westfield Academy in two separate halls and very well attended it was too by traders, exhibitors and most importantly the paying public.

We were kept busy all day with loads of visitors to our display and also met up with old friends for a much needed catch up. There were plenty of interesting models on display & plenty of kits on sale to open up the wallet! I took a slack handful of surplus kits and sold the lot bar one item so came home with more money than I started with. Always a nice bonus that! A big shout out to the organisers for a great day out & here are the pictures from the show.
