Yeovil Model Show Sunday 6th April

It's that time of the year again where Stonehenge Modellers kick off the show session with a blast down the A303 to Yeovil for their spring show at the Westfield academy. We were located in the sports dome as usual and armed with warm coats were pleasantly suprised to find the temperature inside to be rather balmy, no coats needed this year!

As ever a quick setup followed by a quick tour for some pictures soon saw us back at the stand and engaging with visitors and fellow exhibitors. generally talking modelling bollocks and having a fine old time of it. Brian's TV8 experimental/ concept bloody weird American tank was the talk of the stand with many people just gobsmacked at the sheer lunacy of the concept.  I think also people were amazed that a model on his side of the table was not for once drowned in tamiya buff!

Much fun was had and there was some excellent models on display throughout the three halls this show offers to visitors. This year the trader count was slightly down possibly because the Hinkley show was on as well. However there was still plenty to choose from for anyone to part with some cash for that must have model.

So another excellent day as usual, and a big shout out to all those behind the scenes who put in so much effort to host the event.
