Airfix 1/35th USAAF Tractor Finished

Just finished the project after adding some dusty effects using wilder aqualine products then some vallejo oil, fuel and wet effects for fuel staining and oil leaks. The base was quickly built up using AK terrains concrete followed by a spot of plaster for the grass verges and some static grass. All finished off with a few oil washes to add some depth to the concrete road.

This is another of those kits that although small is packed with some great details and is very easy to put together. With the addition of some wires to the engine it looks even better. 

Air Force Tractor

Matt varnish is now on after a slightly darker pin wash was added. This will now be left for a few days to cure before final weathering.

 

Airfix USAAF Tractor Progress

Bit of a jump from the last post for the tractor but I've now managed to paint and begin weathering on the model. For such a small simple kit the details are really showing up very well now. 

Tiger Models AMX-30B Brennus Finished

Well the project is now finally finished after finding a suitable base and making up some simple groundwork. The model is set in France at the Mourmelon training area. Thanks to Brian for pictures and descriptions of the area which were a great help throughout the build. 

I've thoroughly enjoyed this build, the kit is superb with only a few improvements added and painted up looks great. It's also nice to have another interesting model to display and eventually take to shows once they start up again.

 

Gecko Models ATMP Finished

I've finally completed the project after finishing off the simple base for the model. Nothing fancy, just some carved plants from stretched sprue & three posts. However I'm very pleased with the final result as the kit is very nice to build. 

Brennus Crew Finished

The crew figures have now been finished off and added to the model. Very pleased with them as they work very well with the Brennus. Now I really need to sort out a base for this one.
