Yesterday saw myself and Brian again nipping down the A303 for the final show of the year for us at the Westfield academy. Due to my severe lack of modelling mojo at the moment I had to resort to some of my older models for the display this time around. So a trip to the loft dug out some suitable models which have not seen the light of day for some time!
Located in the large inflatable sports hall again we were quickly set up and enjoying a cup of tea before I had a look around the three halls to take pictures. As usual there was a good mix of clubs and models on display as well as plenty of traders to get you spending. Once the show opened we had a good steady stream of visitors to our hall and our display for most of the day with it tailing off around 1430 hrs.
Again it was great to chat to so many people and have a catch up and talk general modelling bollocks. I was hoping the show would get me in the mood to build again and it has certainly done that, I do feel a distinct need to worry some plastic so watch out for a new build on the blog soon.
So another great show and a great way to end the display year for Stonehenge modellers. As usual a big thank you to the organisers for all the hard work and we will see you next year.
Nice selection of pictures Pete, and it was really great to catch up with you and Brian and chew the fat about the old days! Cheers, Terry
