With the turret all weathered and a few bits of stowage as well as the figure & antennas fitted the project is now complete. The base is simple and not that interesting but then again fields aren't usually that interesting are they? I tried to get a sense of movement and I think that the finished scene gives you that impression. As ever takom's chieftain kits are a joy to build and even more fun to paint. With a few additions, such as better fire extinguishers, the model really does look first class. So that's three chieftains now in the collection, perhaps one day I'll build another as well.
Very nice job on this Chieftain Pete. Is it possible to make a picture with your 3 Chieftain together ? I think It will be interesting to have different versions on the same picture.
Great work Pete, I've just ordered the same kit. Where did you get the fire extinguishers and figure from and apart from those was there any other additions? Thanks
Excellent !!!
ReplyDeletele travail de la peinture est très intéressant, beau modèle dans l'ensemble

ReplyDeleteThe fire extinguishers are from accurate armour as are the padlocks and oil drums. The figure is from the tamiya challenger 1 kit.
