IPMS North Somerset Show Report

Saturday saw myself and Brian, aka, Stonehenge Modellers off to our first show of the year  with a short trip down the road to Weston-super-Mare. It's a fairly small show but it attracts clubs from all over the south west as well as further afield. It also usually has a good mix of traders which is always a bonus. This year is the last show at this particular venue as next year it will be held at the helicopter museum and in July.

The show was as usual a very friendly affair with plenty to admire and enjoy. However there was a distinct lack of visitors throughout the day. Maybe the weather and flooding had an effect on the numbers attending I don't know. However we were kept busy on our stand chatting to anyone who came by as well as chatting to friends from other clubs. The stash was reduced slightly due to some under table sales but then increased again with purchases from the traders!
